The incoming chair of the Coretta Scott King Book Awards Committee (CSK) and the incoming chair of the 2019-2021 Coretta Scott King Book Awards Jury will discuss why various narratives of the Black experience are necessary and should be celebrated. The presenters will discuss the history of the CSK awards, the CSK community, and share various strategies and tips on how to include CSK award-winning books in K-12 instruction and library programs.
