Creating a marketing plan for your library can be an intimidating task, especially if you are unsure of where to start. Just like growing a flower, the foundation process requires a bit of work. In early 2019, the Polk County Public Libraries developed their own marketing plan from scratch. Without a previous plan in place, their goal was to create a unified identity for their system, and promote its presence within the community. This process required research, collaboration, and open-mindedness.
