We strive to provide a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment where participants may learn, network and share information with colleagues in an atmosphere of mutual respect. To that end, we request that attendees abide by the ALA Statement of Appropriate Conduct at our biennial conference and other association sponsored events. Enhanced Storytime is a program offered to parents and caregivers to help prepare their child for school. It is based on the 5 elements of Every Child Ready to Read and is a 6 week long program. During the storytime Children's Librarians present a storytime while making side comments to caregivers as to why we practice these different skills and how to implement them in every day tasks.
