Poster #1 -- Library Offline: providing library services during a renovation

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
What happens when a library location is closed for a rebuild or renovation project for 3, 6, 12 months or even years? How do you meet the needs of library users without a permanent, brick-and-mortar library? Our poster focuses on practical strategies for providing continued library services in a community when a location is closed. Strategies include mobile book units, stand-alone return boxes, embedded libraries, small storefront locations and larger temporary locations. This project also created a scalable structure for this service model that can be applied to many different sizes and types of libraries.
