Code of Conduct:
The North Carolina Library Association (NCLA) values everyone’s attendance at our events. We strive to provide a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment where participants may learn, network and share information with colleagues in an atmosphere of mutual respect. To that end, we request that attendees abide by the ALA Statement of Appropriate Conduct at our biennial conference and other association sponsored events. If you experience or witness something that you feel is in violation of this code of conduct, please contact Mike Crumpton at 919-271-6812 or Lorrie Russell at 336-307-0930. If you wish to report something anonymously, please use this form.

Take a moment to relax with Triad Therapy Dogs - Willie, Murphy, and Adare!
We are a group of friendly dogs (and their people) committed to visiting folks of all ages for the purpose of bringing joy and sunshine into their lives.
Our certified teams are involved in reading programs at the public library and in several schools throughout the Triad region. We have a high school counselor who brings her therapy dog to work as an added support for the students as well as the staff. We have licensed counselors working with clients of all ages who benefit... by having a canine friend during a session. We visit college campuses to help the students unwind and de-stress during exams and finals. We participate in conferences and special events and we reach out to the community and share our beloved canine partners! Our nursing home visits provide a lot of joy to our elderly and to the staff. We have done some home visits to those who are lonely and in need. Lastly, we stand by to offer our assistance in the event of a disaster or acts of violence. We are eager to have more teams who qualify and are passionate about serving their community with their best friends!!!
Please see our website at therapydogs.com for more information, testing requirements and general information. Please feel free to reach out should you like to join us!!!!
