The North Carolina Library Association (NCLA) values everyone’s attendance at our events. Sophie Kenney is the Assistant Manager of Children's Services and Early Literacy Specialist for the Aurora Public Library, located in the second largest city in Illinois. She teaches preschool storytime with an emphasis on diversity and inclusion. She currently serves on the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion within ALSC Task Force, is a member of the 2020 Caldecott Committee and reviews for School Library Journal.
